Nerlens Noel Signs with the Kings
Versatile Center Joins Sacramento
Free Agent Deal Finalized
Free agent center Nerlens Noel has officially signed a one-year, $3.1 million contract with the Sacramento Kings, the team announced Friday. The Nets signed Noel to a 10-day contract on March 11, but he will now remain in Sacramento for the remainder of the season.
Noel is a defensive-minded center who can also contribute offensively. He is averaging 5.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game in 2022-23. Noel has played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, and New York Knicks during his seven-year NBA career.
The Kings are currently in 11th place in the Western Conference with a 30-32 record. They are hoping that Noel's addition will help them make a push for the playoffs.
