The New York Times reports that Disney is organizing a workshop for a stage adaptation of the 2017 musical drama film The Greatest Showman.
Original Music and Star-Studded Cast to Return
The stage adaptation will feature the original music composed by Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, best known for their work on La La Land and Dear Evan Hansen.
Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron, who starred in the film, are expected to reprise their roles for the stage adaptation.
Behind the Scenes
Director Michael Gracey, who made his directorial debut with the original film, will not be involved in the stage adaptation. The workshop will be led by an undisclosed creative team.
