Multi-Time World Champion Forced To Submit In Brutal Main Event K.O.T.R Match

Coming off the heels of his big win at Wrestlemania 40 and subsequent victory over “The Monster” Braun Strowman at Backlash the night after, 16-time World Champion “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns continued his historic run atop WWE Monday Night Raw, as he looked to continue laying waste to the rest of the Raw roster. However, standing toe-to-toe with Reigns in the main event was none other than Cody Rhodes. Rhodes had recently returned to WWE after a three-year absence, and he immediately set his sights on the Undisputed Universal Championship that Reigns has held for over two years now.

The match between Reigns and Rhodes was a back-and-forth affair, with both men giving as good as they got. Rhodes came close to victory on several occasions, but Reigns was always able to kick out of his finishers. Late in the match, Reigns hit a spear on Rhodes, but Rhodes kicked out at two. Reigns then locked in the guillotine choke, and Rhodes had no choice but to tap out.

Reigns’ victory over Rhodes was a hard-fought one, but it was a victory nonetheless. Reigns remains the Undisputed Universal Champion, and he has now defeated every major challenger who has stepped up to face him. It seems like there is nobody left who can stop Reigns.
