Glasner on transfer business, injuries and 'building a new group'

Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner has discussed the club's transfer business, injuries and 'building a new group' ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Transfer Business

Glasner is pleased with the club's transfer business so far, having brought in seven new players this summer, including Randal Kolo Muani, Mario Götze and Lucas Alario.

He said: "We have signed some very good players who will help us to improve our squad. We have a good mix of experience and youth, and I am confident that we can have a successful season."

Injuries

Glasner is hopeful that injured players will be back soon, including Filip Kostic, who has been out with a thigh injury.

He said: "We have a few injuries at the moment, but I am hopeful that they will all be back soon. Filip Kostic is one of our most important players, and we need him back as soon as possible."

Building a New Group

Glasner is also looking to build a new group of players who can challenge for trophies in the future.

He said: "We have a lot of new players, and it will take time for them to gel as a team. But I am confident that we can build a new group that can be successful in the future."
